Gretchens End Table

This is a custom ReDo for a friend.
Gretchen wanted something different with this end table, she wanted to bring in some color in the house.
It has such character.
You can't really tell but there is a lot of pretty detail to this end table.
I love the claw feet on it.
After she is sanded you can definitely see the great detail on the legs.
Gretchen choose a lovely yellow to match this adorable little sofa she has in her house.

Here she is in her old home with a new look.
I love how the glazing brings out all the beaty in the legs.
I love this color. I have might be using this color in my back entryway.

Suitcase to End Table!

I copied this cute idea from a fellow blogger Angie. She made one about a year or so ago and I absolutley fell in LOVE. So I found this cute blue suitcase at the DI aka Deseret Industries and I instantly knew what I was going to do with it.
This suitcase was $4.00!  I bought four legs from Lowes and spray painted them white, distressed them, and stained them. Drilled holes through the bottom of the suitcase. I always forgot to take pictures of all the process because I just get to excited. Like a little kid in a candy shop!
But here is what she looks like all finished. I think it's funny that the suitcase in the pictures with no legs looks like a totally different color than with legs!! I will blame it on the lighting-yeah it's the lightings fault::)))
Thnaks to everyone share such lovely ideas on blogs, pinterest, facebook, etc. Then I can duplicate it and make it to share all over again!
Thanks for stopping by.
