Little Girl Table & Chiars

Jenny found this table and chairs at the Salvation Army.
I just love little table and chairs.
I"m still amazed at how much a piece of furniture can change with a little love and paint. (and some sanding!!!) Does anyone have time for some tea!!!
I am loving this color.
It seemed a little blah!!
So I painted huge flowers on the chairs and table.
It turned out way cuter than I thought it would)))
This is a close up of one chair

Here is the top of the table.

Transformed Bread Boxes

So I got this idea from my friend Angies blog at Red Cupboard Design. I saw on her blog how she transformed an ugly bread box into something way CUTE.
You should check out her blog she has a lot of cute stuff.
I told my mom to be on the look out at the Deseret Industry or Salvation Army for old bread boxes. I found an ugly bread box at the DI and my mom found one at the Salvation Army.
This is the lovely before pic. It's funny how sunflowers were SO IN when I was in High School-So So SO many years ago.
I though it would be way cute to add some cute scrap booking paper to the inside of the bread box. I didn't want to 100 percent copy Angies cute idea. So I gave it a Ashley twist! Then I got to thinking AHH!! why not paint the chicken wire to match the paper. So I went with orange because I like orange and its going to be fall and all. I love the way it turned out. I am in love with all these colors. If you check back tomorrow I will be posting some fall decorations for your front door and one of the projects colors I got the inspiration from this exact page. I also loved this paper too! Damask with greens and turquoise. I think I may have just got inspiration for what colors to paint on another dresser! We will have to see!! Can't really see the paper in this pic. But I love it. These are both FOR SALE. SOLD!!! They can be purchased at THE CANNERY CENTER in North Ogden. It's in the same building as Great Harvest Bread. Everyone should check it out they have really cute stuff.

Sneek Peek!!!!!!

Okay So I need to post A LOT of projects!!
Master bedroom dresser
Master bedroom end tables
Fall projects
Transformed Bread Boxes
Pretty in Pink Dresser and Nightstand
First time trying checkerboard
Little girls table and chairs
Books shelf
this is just to name a few. Needless to say I need to try a post one a day.
This is always my goal.....but as you can see I have failed this goal.
So I am going to give you a sneek peak of our bed my husband built out of an old door.
If you click on doors labels. the post is under finding old doors
But first you can see how the hubs and I have been sleeping the last two months maybe even longer. I have lost track!!! Seriously it's kinda GHETTO how we have been sleeping. Maybe after I share this pic it will be extra incentive for me to finish our bed.
Hopefully no one will think less of my messsyyy-ness we call our bedroom.

Under that blue blanket is the baby of our family-Pete Pup. He is not a pup anymore but that is what we call him. He loves sleeping under this blue blanket. It's hard to see him in this pic but the one below you can see the ball that is Pete. Or maybe I can because this is what I see everyday. He also has his dog bone close by on the pillow. But any way-getting back to our LOVELY room.

Okay so here is the Sneek Peek. I am so excited to get it finished.

Who Would Of Thought!!!!

A lamp base with the light taken out of it!
A lamp shade, NAKED with no cover!
A thing-a-jig that holds back long drapes from the window!
Any guesses as to what these three items made?
It turned out to be the most adorable, cutest, thing EVER?
This is it finished but what purpose is it for?
The close pins may give it away! The top is SO SO SO Cute! Do you have any ideas what this could be? I didn't until Jenny told me after I spray painted all of it. Now I want to make some for my boys rooms. A PICTURE, LAmp Thing-a-ma-jig holder. Isn't it the CUTEST idea. I absolutly love it. Who would of thought!! Jenny came up with it and I am on the look out for cool lamp shades now. We have three really cool lamps and know I want to make more. Let me know what you think? Is it as cute as I think? All these items are FOR SALE at THe Cannery in North Ogden
